best online shop 


Esprit’s eshop was awarded the best online shop for fashion and accessories in Germany by the ECC Cologne. It is the second year in a row that Esprit won the award. COO Leif Erichson proudly received the award in a festive ceremony on 11 April 2018.

With around 100 online shops examined and more than 13,000 customer ratings, the ECC Cologne created the largest customer satisfaction survey and an important benchmark survey for German e-commerce. Based on the results of the customer survey, a uniform index was calculated for each online shop, which also forms the basis for the ranking of the top online shops in Germany. Three components are considered in the calculation of the index: customer satisfaction at 70%, intention to repurchase at 15% and willingness to recommend at 15%. The results of the ranking thus show which online shop is best able to satisfy the expectations of their customers and to retain them in the long term.

Integrated into the renowned IFH Cologne, the ECC Cologne is an institution for analyses and strategic consultancy on the trends and developments in the digital retail world. In collaboration with dotSource, the ECC Cologne selected the best online shops in Germany from a customer perspective which were awarded the German Online Shop Award.
